Custom legacy web application written in Perl, using PostgreSQL database that needs to be modified.
Each store record has a table that shows all 52 weeks of the year. The user is currently able to click a "Fill" button next to the week they are entering data for that populates all weeks of the year that have the same Page Type as the current week (example 6 page, 8 page or 12 page).
In the example snip I have attached, a user has keyed in values for week 1. This is an 8 page type week so it has a fill 8 button. When clicked, weeks 3, 4, and 7 will be populated based on entries from week 1 because they are also 8 page weeks. Note that this Fill button action populates the view on the screen only, it does not push the data to the database. There is another "submit" button on the screen that performs the update and makes changes to the database.
What we would like changed is to have the Fill buttons replaced with a button that performs one of the following 3 fill actions:
Option 1 - Fill all 52 weeks of the year based on the currently selected year
Option 2 - Only fill weeks a,b,c based on the currently selected year (this list will contain approx 26 weeks)
Option 3 - Only fill weeks x,y,z based on the currently selected year (this list will contain approx 13 weeks)
