Looking for a Windows kiosk-like application to allow users to record video greetings of any length. App should support webcams and work be great if it could support either an arcade button press to start/stop recording...or simply use the spacebar.
There is a similar program available for Mac called "Thrilled for you". The idea is to let wedding guests record comments to a video file that can be either compiled to a DVD or published to a website. Right now my focus is getting a DVD made, but I may later want to be able to convert these for online use.
The program should include:
- a setup file or a configuration page for any file locations
- ability to run in full-screen mode with no menubar or navigation links showing
- live preview of the web camera on the screen while the session is active
- support for a sound input, such as a microphone
- ability for user to start/stop recording and a redo option
- small visitor counter in corner of display (config should allow reset)
- support for a user-supplied png or jpg background image for app window
