Hey...I am trying to create a contact form on my website, which is being run on IXWebhosting servers, using Wordpress for the design and implementation.
I've been able to get the form up...and I think I can handle the styling aspects of it.
Here's my issue...
When I try to test the form, it says "one moment please" and then "thank you for your comment." Just like it should. However...I never receive an email from my site with the comment.
With the research that I have done, I think it is related to my server's PHP mail() functions. I have no idea how to correct this. I have installed a plugin which should have fixed it. It looks like this...
<?php add_action('phpmailer_init','ixw_phpmailer_init');
function ixw_phpmailer_init($php_mailer){
ini_set('sendmail_from', 'user<at>[login to view URL]');
}
?>
(I had to change the at sign to <at> because of Scriptlance's blocker. It should be an at sign)
I also changed the "user<at>[login to view URL]" to my actual address...to no avail.
This should be a quick fix for someone who knows what they're doing. I need someone to have experience with IXWebhosting and Wordpress...because it seems to be related to them. If you are chosen for the job, I will provide you with the login information for my server control panel and the wordpress control panel.
Thanks!
