Toolbar for IE & FF with whois search and backend.
The project is 2 different parts:
- a toolbar what should do whois searches for AT/DE/CH/COM/NET/ORG/INFO Domains
- the backend (php/mysql) what will "feed" the toolbar and accept new domains extracted by the toolbar from the browser cache.
The toolbar should be for Internet explorer and optional for firefox. Once installed and activated the toolbar should receive a list of domains, check them locally if they are free, and send them back to the backend.
Also the toolbar should extract domainnames from the visited webpages and send them back to the backend.
Every x checked domains the backend should send back a domain which is free.
The toolbar and installation flow should be capable for multilanguage. Development language is english (later German and french).
So all text should be editable in a glossary or template file.
The backend should be a simple mysql database with an XML interface for input/output. The logic there should be in php.
Backend should run on linux servers with apache, php and mysql.
