I've decided to upgrade my MySQL database from [url removed, login to view] to 4.1.9. That seems to have gone okay, except that when I try to connect to mysql, either from the web or from command line (I'm on Win2K server), I get a message that says:
"Error 1130: Host 'localhost' is not allowed to connect to this server."
At this point, it is not possible for me to run any SQL commands at all (as far as I can tell). The mysqld process is running, and logs are being generated. I just can run any commands or connect to the database at all. I need help resolving this issue.
