Quotation components must specifically address: (A) US $ estimate for website development (B) US $ monthly estimate for site Hosting and day-to-day on-line administration including ‘PayPal’ payments verification (C) US $ estimate per month/per mailing list (D) US $ estimate any additional envisaged future monthly or ad-hoc coding variables or website support charges including search engine rankings (E) The estimated number of days required to develop finished product Web site activation date by end Sept 2007 or as agreed on award of contract. The three ‘RAC’ competitors adjudged to have made the most compelling presentation will be invited to submit a concept home page for the website. Coders who do not wish to participate in this exercise are requested not to quote. ## Deliverables [login to view URL] will invite 'ready for work assignments' retirees to register. General objectives: Coders must show an appreciation and knowledge of the Irish culture, values (as opposed to ‘stage Irish’) and economy. This web site must be professionally constructed, easy to navigate, relatively quick to open under all connection speeds, interesting and informative to visit for both male and female professional Irish retirees on an on-going basis, with simply navigated on-line database entries, combining humorous ‘country relevant’ graphics with vigor and imagination. The website initiative must be seen and understood to offer tremendous potential and value to both corporate and retiree members. The website must capture the imagination and interest of Irish media. Irish retiree membership objectives: Retiree members will be able to post their CV, personal and contact details plus photo on-line. It must not appear in any way demeaning to upcoming retirees and retired professionals to place their credentials on the database. The website must (most importantly of all) be the primary source of information and opportunity for the professional senior. The final product must comprise a web site that retirees will visit on a daily or weekly basis eagerly anticipating the information that awaits them. Irish Corporate market objectives: The web site must also be one that appeals to the corporate market, convinces them to embrace the concept and encourages them to browse the skills resources of members. The concept incorporates several (it may even be prudent to consider them as independent) websites into one composite web site which comprises a major resource spanning the interests of retirees. The site should incorporate a “matching-with-notification?? function. With this, the employer or retiree is notified when anyone (in the future) matches his or her current skills credentials, vacancy or search criteria. The web site should facilitate generation and delivery of e-mails thru mailing lists (provided) to Companies, Agencies, individuals etc. The website must be well constructed, easily searched and sufficiently professionally presented that industry will adopt it as a very early and extremely cost effective port of call in the event of a sudden, short term, temporary or part time vacancy. Corporate site visitors should be able to (a) list vacancies they are attempting to fill and (b) search and access the database of retiree members (excluding personal and contact details) ??" such as numbers available, their geographic location, their background. Database info should be sufficiently attractive to Corporate site visitors to encourage them to register as Corporate members Profile of the multiple components [login to view URL] will offer registered members’ password protected access to: (A) An easily searched, comprehensive register of members’ skills/experience. (With the objective of having a sufficiently comprehensive resource as will attract site registration and visits from Corporate H.R. Departments, International Aid Organisations, Researchers, Recruitment agencies, Self employed, Project managers, Community agencies etc. to search our members’ database in order to fill a short term need) (B) An easily accessed register of Irish companies willing to employ older workers (With the objective of bringing our services to the attention of Ireland’s 1,000 biggest employers in such a manner as to gain commitment to consider seniors in their part-time, temporary or specific assignment requirements and to post vacancies online. The corollary effect will be to attract more members to register as they appreciate the range of employer interest/ commitment) (C) An investment club for members offering targeted and specific advice. (The investment club will be created in tandem with guidelines laid down by the Irish stock exchange, with pre-determined objectives consistent with the needs of members, in collaboration with a major discount share trading company offering real time portfolio valuation, with a forum for expert input and advice from members. The club will encourage members, who so wish, to build up a well chosen and balanced portfolio of investments. The corollary effect will be to maintain members’ interest in all sections of this dynamic web site by visiting on a daily or weekly basis) (D) Home (and second home) extended exchange networks for members (The objective of this section of the web site will be to create a forum for rental or interchange of primary and vacation homes among the most affluent and unencumbered in Irish society (many of whom have holiday homes in Europe and the US). This section will also attract interest from Irish expatriates returning on extended vacations and US retiree and sabbatical market seeking extended stays in members’ European or Irish homes) (E) Seniors discounting data base for major Irish multiple retailers (Many national multiple stores offer seniors a 10% discount on selected weekdays. No central register exists thus it requires a lot of individual research to determine which store offers what on which day. The data base will allow members to log in and select the store that best meets their needs at a particular point in time. The corollary effects will be to encourage these multiples to additionally consider placing themselves among those willing to employ older workers thus maintaining members’ ongoing interest in the web site) (F) Heavily discounted late availability register for hotels, events and resorts. (Transportation seats, hotel beds and event participation have one thing in common ??" unsold it remains unsold. The web site will offer the opportunity to these and like organizations to register and offer late availability to our (affluent and totally mobile) members whenever they wish to dispose of spare capacity at significantly less than rack rate. Another device to keep members returning to the site) ## Platform All 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape", "Linux"
