I require a commercial website designing. The business is digital photograph enhancement, negative scanning, printing and other related services. I do currently have a site that I designed myself but I am failing to win enough business with it hence the need for a professional looking site. I am also getting some hits but not enough so someone with some knowledge on search engine optimisation would be an advantage but not necessary to win the bid, my main objective is to make the site look professional and thereby instilling enough confidence to convert both casual visitors and those who searched for the service and found the site into customers. I think most of the information needed to get an idea of my services and what I offer to customers can be obtained by viewing the site. <[login to view URL]> obviously I will also communicate with the coder to give any other information required. The person I am looking for will be able to design and code a professional looking site with ease, they will be proud to call that site his/hers and would be confident that the design created would be able to fulfill the requirements. I will also be in a position to offer further work to a successful coder. . ## Deliverables 1)The design is currently 6 pages plus a couple of pop up pages using java, a design around that size would be satisfactory though the number of pages is open depending on the design but a site that has too many pages is a recipe for driving away custom, keep the pages informative but uncluttered. 2) One important page will be terms and conditions and must comply with UK law where applicable, this will mainly convey the rules for trading with the company. 3)My hosts provide a shopping cart, Agora, this must be linked to merge with the Nochex payment system [[login to view URL]][1] this is a system similar to Paypal. Information will be made available on the Agora system to the successful bidder 4)A design that is easily editable, to allow for changing example photographs, prices, special offers etc 5)A design that allows the search engines to spider all pages except perhaps the shopping cart. 6)I am neither for nor against Macromedia Flash and will consider designs either way. 7)I will provide photographs and logo but other graphics will be created by the coder. 8)The successful coder will be allowed to add a small link to his/her homepage at the bottom of each page. 9) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 10)Coder warranties work for a year and will fix any bugs in that time 11) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 12) All deliverables will be considered buyers property under UK copyright law.
