Blogger/Wordpress Like Engine

Hello, I am looking for a blogger/basic web hosting engine. I wish to own the script vs rely on freebies, as well as tie in what may be widgets, etc, but prefer to do it along these lines, and most importantly own the code. The biggest difference is I wish to have a follower option, that can be based on a person creating a profile on the network and joining the group, or, by the person subscribing and double opting in. Network usage statistics will be needed to determine peak network use, and possible abuse. I would love to 1) Pay for an existing product that could be tailored to fit specific needs, or 2) pay to have a product developed from scratch. However, this option can be scary simply due to bug testing. Intended hardware will be based on an amazon-esque cloud computing configuration. I am open to various databases excluding Oracle. Our tech team typically prefers .net or java but we are open to discussing various code options with the right programmer. The ideal person would not only be developing a large system for us, but will have a long relationship adding modules and functionality for it as well. Ps, I am not crack brained in my plan of using this type of product to replace or topple social networking sites, etc. This is a small business venture meant to replace several website hosting elements we offer to our customer base and combine it into one more polished looking product. The need to have it develped is so we have flexibility in how accounts are created and provisioned, ie, making a non cumbersome? API for external applications, etc. ? ## Deliverables ? I would wish to be able to use a setup that could utilized paid whitelisting headers such as goodmail, etc. 9) Group owner broadcasting: ? ? ? ? Group owner may broadcast their network of subscribers no greater than X times per month as stated in the Administration console.
