## Deliverables
Note:
A programmer started this project and I have existing code of the screenflow from them - I am attaching the existing Palm Pre code to evaluate. They did not continue because they wanted to pursue other projects.
I need a programmer who is confident that they can integrate maps into the new Palm Pre Mojo SDK for the Palm WebOS. It needs to work on the Palm Pre and EOS Line of smartphones.
The application must access the GPS chip in the phone and use the free downloadable Maps from the developer Mapquest which are located here: developer.mapquest.com. If you cannot integrate the mapquest platform then please use Yahoo Maps or Google Maps.
The application simply needs to perform the following tasks:
1. Load a Splash Logo Screen which I will supply (I am a graphic designer). After the logo screen appears the application should immediately start locating the user on the Mapquest map and then show the map and ask them to confirm their parked location on top of the map screen. Once they confirm their parked location by clicking on 'vehicle location' it will mark it on the map with a car icon (I will supply this). The map should also stamp the date and time of when they parked.
2. Once the user wants to come back they can hit 'Find My Car' - an aerial Mapquest map of their current location will appear and show where their car is in relation and also provide turn by turn walking directions as well. (this is in the mapquest API). The application will then lead them back.
No registration is necessary. No database is necessary - except for keeping the parking info. Only retrieving the necessary map data is necessary.
There is a similar application on the Iphone here as a reference:

I do not want to copy this perfectly - but it will give you an idea of what I want to accomplish.
I am a graphic designer and I completed the entire GUI for you - I will post the PSD files that you can see at [login to view URL] upon accepting your bid.
In addition to the app marking where you park on the map with the GPS chip - in addition you need the ability for you to type in a text description of where you parked in case they are in a parking garage - and marking your location on the map is not descriptive enough. This should be up to 160 characters.
I also have a dedicated server and I will make a website for this at www.parkparrot.com. I ask that you check in your code on my server at that location - FTP details will be provided.
- I own a Palm Pre and can test the product.
I will also need help submitting the app to the Palm pre app Store. If they reject the app - you will have to fix whatever code is needed to get it accepted into the app store;.

Dear Bidders, I have decided to award the Palm Pre work to a developer on oDesk.com. Thank you for your time and bids on my project. I just didn't find anyone who wrote anything specific about my project in their bid. I already knew about your work and portfolio - I was looking for someone who would get specific. But if this developer doesn't work out - I have marked you down to be a backup in case I need to hire you down the road. Thank you. Andrew
