We have built a new linux web / email hosting server that uses powerdns and virtual exim to service email / DNS requests, along with the usual apache and mysql. Our problem is that the standard interfaces for powerdns and vexim are too basic and bland, we require better functionality. In addition to this, a (POP) webmail program is required. All sites must be functional and look good, we can help with layout and design if required. The 3 components are: 1. Extend the powerdns interface to add new features and options, e.g. SOA records cannot be modified 2. vexim needs to be tidied up 3. A webmail program needs to be implemented - you are free to recommend and use an existing open source solution In addition, the components need to work together, e.g. vexim needs to have a link to webmail, and powerdns needs to link to vexim to create email addresses once a domain has been added. Source code for the existing solutions will be provided for modification. All coding MUST make use of a common header and footer file and a single login point (you may need to create a new database to store this), it would also be useful to change the header/footer on a per-login basis. CSS should be used where possible to control the look and feel. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
