I need someone to write a shell script that will take a directory of images and resize the canvas and image dimensions of all files within the directory.
At the moment I use the "rename" utility along with ImageMagick to accomplish this.
I need your script to iterate over all the files contained within a directory.
I need to be able to change the target output size of the image. You can just comment your code so that I can edit the script to make that change.
The initial script should take any image, and make the output 400px X 400px.
If any side of the image is > 400px, the canvas will be increase to 400px on that side.
The final output should be a clean, non-warped image of 400px x 400px.
I'm working on a mac, but also using a VM with vagrant on a guest machine running Ubuntu. The script should work on either system and use a utility (such as imagemagick) that works on both OSX and Ubuntu.
This is a simple task that I will pay $30 for.
Hi, I read your description. If you give me only 1 hour, I'll finish this project. I have experienced projects exactly like this for 10+ years. Best regards. Thanks.
