I want a program that uses network stumbler (and gps) data that it creates and put it into a mapping program. Mostly for this is for LARGE outdoor wireless installations.
1. Take netstumbler output and put into a mapping program. Take MAC addresses (and GPS coordinates) of each antenna (supplied in a .txt file) and draw rings around access point from netstumbler data. (a layer)
2. Make data into different layers, so you see different networks (a, b, g) and different hot spots that netstumbler shows.
3. make guesses of where possible network access points are not supplied in .txt file, based on gps data and signal level. so gps data shows pointX decreases as we move south, then increases as we come back from the west. make a "guess" where access point is at.
4. needs to use standard gis data format <[login to view URL]>
