Dynamic Array / Type Block

Here is my situation. I'm trying to create an Array that I can store information into from a Recordset from and SQL DB.<br> I have no problems getting the SQL data, or populating it into a simple array. <p>For this example I have 5 Clients, and for each client I would like to store 5 records.<br> I could use myArray(4,4) or myArray(0 to 4,0 to 4). </p> <p>However I would like to a dynamic array based on the columns I specify in my database.<br> I have for example column DataA, DataB, DataC, DataD, DataE.</p> <p>My idea was to do:</p> <p>Public Type Records<br> DataA as Integer<br> DataB as Integer<br> DataC as Integer<br> DataD as Integer<br> DataE as Integer<br> End Type</p> <p>Dim myArray(4) as Records</p> <p>Then for example I could Store for Client1.</p> <p>myarray(1).DataA = 1<br> myarray(1).DataE = 6</p> <p>This way will work perfect for my situation.<br> The only problem is that &quot;Public Type Records&quot; has to be hard coded I would like to populate it at runtime.</p> <p>Does anyone know of a way that I could make that Type Block dynamic? or do you have another idea?</p> <p>Thanks,</p> <p>Steven</p> ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
