ok il try to explain it clearly as possible. This is a personal project for a computers/education course im doing.
Im constructing a system to teach an area of biology to high school students. The course will be split into 5 modules and implemented in visual basic 6 (the course matieral itself i will implement)
I would like a log on screen, which sets up the users account when they register and also a standard administrator log in.
I need at the end of every module a series of multiple choice questions (relavent to that module) so that it reads in questions at random from the database and the user will select their choices and submit them, the system will then give them a score and say well done 5 out of 5 or 0 out of 5 study harder! and save the total mark for each question and student.
For instance if user 1 takes the test and gets question 1 and 2 wrong, and user 2 then takes the test and gets the same two questions wrong, the database will record that two users answered the questions incorrectly.
There needs then to be a seperate form which allows you to query the stats for each question and student.
Also there needs to be a form which allows the administrator to easily add/delete a question to any module. And also add/delete users.
If the bare bones of the system was created, with five forms all with a selection of multiple choice tests linked to a database of questions and answers it would allow me to add the forms containing the course matieral and then link them to the individual test pages. Also i could then simply add questions to the database itself to populate the test pages with relavent questions.
The code would also need to be well commented. As this is a hand in report for my course, i will be handing in documentation of what each section of code does etc, thusly the system does not have to look "out of this world!" the main functionality is the most important thing.
Im not sure if thats explained well but let me know, and to iron out details.
