Hello, Well the best way to have the script return results to the web page is to write it into a file, that the php script will parse on perl execution complete, and then will render back to the web interface. The way I see this application that it would have a clean look is to do it with ajax, that would launch the php script, that does the backend processing and launching of perl and wait for results then give them back. Depending on what the perl script does, we could optimize and not use it at all, and make the php do all the operations required, but will need to see the script and decide. Regards

Good day, I have created many functions that import CSV files to validate and sanatize the data in the csv file, save it to a mySQL DB table and display the results. Have you considered using PHP to process the import, rather than a perl script?
