Hello, I am a Freelance Consultant based out of India. Prior to freelancing I was working in Financial Services industry and did projects on Portfolio Performance Reporting (for Bank of America - ML) and Risk Management (AmEx). I am also a GARP certified FRM. I also did a project for BofA-ML where we evaluated different MFs for performance. For BofA, I designed and manged the complete monthly portfolio performance reporting project which was used to get client portfolio details either through electronic feeds from different custodians or by automatically logging into their holding accounts and retrieving the values. Then calculated the returns through Modified Dietz and IRR methods. The portfolios were for HNIs and comprised of Alternative Investments as well. So, I am well aware of exactly what you are looking for and how it could be built. You would appreciate that the effort in such an automatic data gathering system is proportional to the type of website(s) and number of data points to be fetched.
