The task is to build a web-based user-friendly product configurator.
User input: User has the option to configure the product from 8 options. The order in which he make the selections shouldnt matter.
Output: The full list of components for that configuration should be displayed below.
Example: A Car Configurator
In the center of the page is the image of your car. To the left and right of this image are 4 options to select from. Some options can be just 2 States, other option may have upto 6 options, there may also be a custom possibility (e.g colour).
1st Option: Lenght (Short, Long)
2nd Option: Colour (White, Silver, Custom) - When Custom- a colour palette should appear and the user can select (Hex to RAL conversion needed)
3rd Option: Type (Sedan, SUV)
....
Once I select Colour: white- the image in the center should show a white picture of the car. Once the 3rd Option (SUV) is added- the car becomes a white SUV. All mandatory options must be completed.
At the bottom of the page a list of components is generate to actually build the car including every screw and even the packaging material and time needed to build.
