Help with setting up a child theme on my FTP

I need to duplicate the files on my FTP from an exisiting wordpress setup - they should be on the same FTP, so it's basically duplicating the exisiting child theme, which already exist on my server and makin sure it works as the original one.

hello, only duplicating will not work, as database too needs to be duplicated, so will need cpanel, otherwise 2 websites can not share same database, it will get corrupted.
