Integration of vBulletin board into Wordpress site

I’m currently running a German message board (based on vBulletin 5): [login to view URL]
I’d like to switch to wordpress, focusing my site more on content and make the vbulletin message board a subsection of the new site, accessible via the menu
For the new site I’ve started with an existing wordpress theme (template) that I’m currently setting up ( [login to view URL] )
The most important thing to be done is to make the “old” forum part of the new wordpress site.
- There should be a signup/login for the site as a whole meaning with the same login, users can post comments to wordpress articles but also participate in the forum
- For a unified look, the VB board should “pull” the header and the footer from wordpress
- It would be desirable to have a wordpress widget that pulls data from VB, for example display the recent posts on the front page.
- I am also open to the idea of switching to a different message board system, but only if all data can be preserved, and the file structure can be kept the same. The forum is has it’s content indexed by google and none of the links can be lost if we end up perusing this option.
I’m also looking for a user point system where users earn points for doing certain things like posting comments or posting in the forum. I believe there are numerous wordpress plugins for this. The challenge would again be to “connect” to VB to award points also for posting there.
I’d also like a section where users can upload screenshots or videos (of their casino winnings) to their account which will then be displayed in various ways. For example random screenshots displayed on homepage, a menu section to browse user content. I’m sure there are existing plugins for that. I need some help setting this all up and putting everything together.
