Master VBA coder needed to work on existing project

For 2 years now I have been fortunate enough to have 1 single coder working on an excel file that we developed to help us create our daily inventory xls file that we use for uploading to our database. This coder has recently become unavailable and my client is seeking some changes to the file. I need someone who doesn't mind working on teamviewer, as you will be connected to my pc when you work on this file. The issue we are having is complicated and requires someone who can fully immerse himself into the problem with me, then find the solution. This project is on urgent deadline and I must deliver asap. The issue we are having is that every product must have a SKU number on our database. We have 2 pages. 1 sheet we use for Specials products with bulk product quantities. The second sheet is used for Products regular pricing. We have to add all our products to a sheet. Then once we have added all products, we run a command Save for Web. When we run that command, every product we added to the respective sheets gets a sku pulled from a master file called SKUS.xlsm. We have two product types. Lot products and non lot products. Lots basically means the product is sold in bulk quantities. The problem we are having is that since we have NON LOT skus and LOT skus for the same product, when our command is being run to pull the skus, the skus on SHEET 1 come CORRECT, but the SKUS on SHEET2 come with LOT numbers. The coder on this project says this is caused because of an error related to having * in the product name. I normally give him ALL the time in the world to solve these problems, but he's not being very responsive as of late, and my client is hounding me to get this task complete.
