I have an install of Osticket. I am using an email parsing plugin to collect data from the emails and the plugin is inputting it into the ticket "onticketcreate".
Issue: The plugin is storing the data as a new form entry for the same ticket
Why this is a problem: The custom fields do not populate in the Autoresponder. I am also unable to send the custom field data to my API. Both of these functions appear to be calling the data from the initial ticket create entry (ie. Null values).
Basically I need all the data to be put into the system before the autoresonder is sent and the other plugins are called (signalled) to handle the data.
NOTE: The plugin is attached to this job in the files section. The plugin already works - it parses the data etc. All I need you to do is ensure that the data that the plugin creates and posts to the Osticket custom fields is merged with the data that Osticket puts into the database at the time the ticket is created. I need all fields available for the autoresponder and any other plugins called after the signal::ticket.created.
This should give you the solution - same problem of plugin creating new db entry, when it really should just be updating the existing entry and not creating a new entry ID in mysql. [login to view URL]
