I have board that can generate a sound. It is using an ATTiny 85 but the memory is too small and cannot produce the sound to a desired quality. I want to use an Atmega328 or equivalent to generate the good sound quality.

Hello, Have a great day. We will ship you fully working prototype. We have many other options to store sound, that can be with or without microcontroller. We will deliver the following. 1. Schematics. 2. Bill Of Material. 3. PCB design and gerber files 4. Simulation if we used Microcontroller. 5. Working Prototype. Please feel free to contact. Best Regards, Shahbaz.

Lets discuss so that I can tell best suitable cost effective solution for this. May be PIC32 device will be better choice, but until I know what the sound is or about the complete product details, its not fair to say anything at first go. My bid includes schematic design as well as firmware development. In case if you need me to build the prototype and test the quality then can do that also with little extra. I have been into sound technology for more than 25 years so know about the quality pretty well. Thanks and looking forward to hear from you. Regards... Roy

Hi, Many years experience in microcontroller design and pcb design. No problems with either of the tiny atmel products ....BUT What kind of sound are you trying to reproduce? How many seconds do you want it to run for? What sort of quality would you like. There are many ways to deliver what you want but the details are important. Always happy to chat. Regards and good luck with your project James Harrison-Smith

I am a professional electrical, mechanical, and software engineer with degrees in each and a specialization in AVR microcontrollers and PCB design. An ATTiny85 and ATMega328 are for all intents equivalent with the exception of size and a few extra features. Bottom line is that sound quality isn't going to improve by switching chips. You're just going to have more space. And with that being said, there are ways to add extra space to your Tiny85 and improve quality without a complete redesign. I can do that for you for cheap. Let's talk more about this.
