Hi Sir, So challenging and entertaining document, but the translation into Englihsh barely matches the original smartly written Spanish nineteen century letter. I guess you are already aware of it. Some meaningful words have been translated with poor understanding and writing research success, f.i.: "hermit" means "ermitaño" (man who live isolated from his society), but the written word is "enmienda" that means " amendment", here the writer is asking to his friend to amend any mistake in the address of the letter to Mr. Galvez. Another important example may be "who competes", which is the translation made to "que compre", similar in its shape but what means " that you buy". "The hungry man" i can not figure up how this has been translated from "el calzado", what means " the shoes", where the writer hopes they come along with the dress at 10 o´clock. Anyway, I can match the original at a first glance to an 85% accuracy, since I should research some casual clothes from the epoch named in the text, whose fixing work the writer is asking not to pay for since the clothe does not belong to him. Hello, I'm a latine america native and my mother lenguague is Spanish-Castellano (The spanish used wide in latin america) so I kmow much of the word and they means on various countries that use spanish and the means that are lost in translation to english, I readed some of the JPG image and some word are innegible but no unreadable, for some interpretation I will need a more clear image on focused parts, like dividing the image but whit more zoom.
