As the project has very specific requirement of using either LinerRegression library from sklearn (Logistic Regression), and KNN classifier, it is important to gain complete knowledge about the dataset, hence EDA is must. Being a classification problem it would be important to look at confusion matrix and classification report. A good values of precision and recall will be the end criteria to judge the performance of the model (however, ensemble techniques could also be applied) and it would help in deciding if the model is overfitting or underfitting on the training data.
