I am running Jitsi, and need the following: 1. A button on the toolbar by the chat (bottom left) that when clicked, takes a snapshot of the current jitsi room (like pressing the snapshot button on your keyboard to capture the desktop) 2. True/false boolean option (ie: snapshot_active: true would show the snapshot icon; false would disable the icon in the room) in [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] that enables me to toggle that button on and off. 3. Making sure when I update Jitsi on ubuntu that I don't lose the changes or have to overwite Jitsi everytime to reinstall the feature again.

hi, i understand your requirement, what you want is a react component with the following abilities 1) true and false. this can be send as a prop and false will disable the component(component will not show it. You can add it to [login to view URL] and modify it without touching the source code. 2)when clicked, it will take the snapshot of the div and download the image. 3) since the component is added as a part of the react code, you willl not lose it when you update jitsi on ubuntu. doubts: do you want the snapshot of the image or the video that is playing? techstack used: react.
