Current developer was asked to add push notes to the application but seems to be failing. The application gathers news from multiple sources and the developer needs to ensure that the feed is up and running - the back end often exceeds its memory capacity and the server fails, cutting the news feed. The worker performance needs to be checked and the server set up itself to ensure continuity of the feed. Secondly the push notifications need to be set up correctly from the back end. There should be 2 scheduled notifications per day, and a notification anytime a channel 'goes live' - both should be based on the users customized channel preferences.

Hi, As per your requirement I would create two scripts to push the notifications. We can use rails inbuilt scheduling or we can use sidekiq. Sidekiq will give better control on the jobs and apis. We can process all the notifications in queues with multithread in sidekiq. Which will resolve problem server capacity exceed.
