hi, I am working on a project for my design course and I need some help regrading the firmware and software part. Eventually I am trying to make eink display to mirror an ipad screen, but for the this project, I want to connect a Bluetooth (preferably a low energy BLE) dongle to my laptop and send a picture (.EPD picture since eink TCM accepts .EPD format) from my laptop to a low energy STM32L microcontoller (through Bluetooth), and then to the eink display's TCM module, so the picture that is sent from laptop is shown on the eink screen. Here is the eink kit that i have bought: [login to view URL] I have attached the developer guide of this product. I have been working on the project. However I am struggling to get SPI work/communicate with TCM module, and I am thinking to outsource microcontroller side of programming. I mean how microcontroller is integrated with the Eink and how communication is done between these devices and Bluetooth encoding/decoding part. These will help me to get the ball rolling. I am hopeful that I can do the ipad side of project by myself. My expectations: 1. Support Major Commands as in the E-ink Datasheet only (each command is wrapped via a single function API) 2. Communication Commands to support for TCM: #ResetDataPointer #Upload Image Data #DisplayUpdate #GetDeviceInfo #GetDeviceId #GetSystemInfo #GetSystemVersionCode #ReadSensorData And for the Bluetooth part, basic byte by byte transmission and receiving. #sentByte() #ReciveByte() At the end I want to scale this project so it can work with ipad (ios device) I will try to write an app that get a screenshot of ipad's screen and transmit it through the Bluetooth low energy (BLE 4) to the STM32 side. Therefore the code should be scalable to this main objective. Please tell me how long it would take you to finish this project ( I am really in hurry). And how much it will cost. My budget is a little bit tight so please give me your best price. thanks PS. I have a open mind to any suggestion regarding microcontoller. STM32 or Mbed or anything that is suitable for this project (low power consumption is kinda important for me). Also last time I was looking to develop for Bluetooth low energy, however I am again open minded for other ways of wireless communications as well. I am attaching a general of block diagram to explain what I have in mind.

Hi, I can't understand why this project has been posted by some other person, I am considering this is the original and genuine. Writing libraries for complex hardware is not that easy or simple, it takes time and lot of energy. If you can stretch your budget then we can talk on technical and commercial aspects of it. I will be happy to help you out on this (as per your requirements). feel free to talk. thanks

Hi there! My name is Keith and I am a professional electrical engineer here in the US. I now work solely as a contracting designer and freelancer. Many of my projects entail working with microcontrollers, PLCs and automated devices, Bluetooth wireless, and all sorts of LED and visual display projects. Being formally educated in mechanical engineering, I have various skills in CAD, structural analysis, and even aerospace design. Your project looks great and I am confident I can do it well. That means I'll have the ability to not only do a professional engineering job in design, but to make sure your project is completely correct all the way through! Please have a look at my resume and portfolio on my profile page to see a bit of what my talents are able to bring to your project. And don't hesitate to contact me with any questions before choosing a bidder. Thanks for considering! - Keith B.

I have experience with micro-controllers and Bluetooth. As I understood, issue is in communication between STM32 and display via SPI. If you provide detailed circuit of the project it will be big step to solve this issue. Regards, Andrian

I easily interfaced my stm32f0 board to OLED lcd via i2c, LCD RGB display via SPI and on my tiva4c1239 board to a Sharp 96x96 monochrome ultra low power display [similar to your e-ink but better] via software SPI and then 12Mhz hardware SPI. I have no problem writing and adapting low level code on any microcontroller and will have no problem interfacing the e-ink to your stm32l board. Do not own a STM32L but own a STM32F0, STM32F4 and STM32F4LCD board. Am using IAR workbench or keil for software development.
