I work with a client that uses a Formlabs2, Netfabb and Preform to print out models of teeth. the build platform is shown in a pic that i'll attach. Before the files are added to preform for printing, they're taken into netfabb and details like patient info and Doctor name is added to the bottom of the model.
Here's the task- if I use the following format to name a model file:

Can you build me a PC program that will use that filename info and allow me to dump 10-20 models into a box and then the program will automatically generate new STL's with patient, doctor, time and date info engraved into the base of each model. Not protruding, engraved. Possibly maybe even a pattern to add some aesthetics to the finished piece.
Maybe drop a bunch of models, then a screen comes up with the files u just added with name and allows the user the option to manually edit the details and then they hit go and the files are processed and created.
Currently, he's laying them out by hand in preform, if you can include an option to alternatively lay them out with the necessary space in between each model specifically for the form2, that would be the next step. A number of other labs are printing the models vertically, we havent tried that yet but would like to begin doing that. So then he would take the 1 file this program created and bring it into preform
I have no idea where to start, the language that should be used, or if it's even possible. Let me know your thoughts and about how long it would take you
