Devward is looking for a developer to write a library for the display controller FT81x (FTDI) which is SPI based. This library will be implemented for ESP32 using the Espressif SDK (native code).
The library shall contain:
-Display initialization function(s)
-Write command functions
-Write and read to/from a specific part of the memory
-Write commands to display list buffer
-Write widget commands
-Write bitmaps
Basically, the library shall contain all functions the controller implements since the display interface will be created with them.
Regarding SPI, the display controller (FT81x) can operate in QUAD-SPI as well as ESP32. The library shall have the option to switch to quad mode and make all necessary and permitted transactions.
There is already implemented libraries and a lot of material regarding this display controller which can be used.
Please read the datasheet and/or the programming guide of the display controller in order to have a better discussion of the project.
