Hi, maybe can help. Can propose you to do base on google spreadsheets and google script. You send such notepad file /files as attachment in email on gmail address where you want process it/them. When email with notepad file received it will transfer into spreadsheet where chart generated automatically bas on that data. So you open spreadsheet and you have chart. Dear Madam or Sir, I am an experienced C++, Python, Java and R programmer. Moreover, I am familiar with Excel. In your case Python is the best choice, because it is exactly made for this kind of problems. It is very easy and fault tolerant to read/write data from/to the text files with Python and one can design beautifully graphs with the python modules matplotlib or seaborn. Just google for these modules to see some examples. Moreover, without using excel you gain the ability to run the script on every computer or server without excel. Another benefit of Python is that it runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Do you need just an Script for the command line or a small GUI (this can easily be done with QT for Win, Mac, Linux) that you can use with the mouse? What data is in your notepad files, which data should be extracted, and what exactly should be plotted? Should the plots be exported to jpg or png? I've done pretty much exactly the same thing several times before. It would be trivial to convert the data from a notepad file to a CSV spreadsheet, which can be opened in excel, at which point you could do whatever you wanted with the data. It would be just as easy to convert the CSV back into a notepad file with the same formatting as the original. If necessary, the charts could be created automatically by the script, but this adds complexity.

Would use excel as basis for graphing. May need powershell script to pre-filter the input, but probably could all be done within excel. Need an example of the input to be sure. You need to define carefully what graphs are needed, but we can work on what you require incrementally after first initial prototype.
