The project is to demonstrate an application which is highly available. Demo Case: An application which implements hystrix framework. Suppose an application has many services and one goes down , now we want that the application should keep on running and the request to the failed service is stoped making application highly avialable.(Example: Application is running where two services are implemented, one service database is down, now hystrix will open the circuit and stop requesting d service ) Hystrix provide fallaback option which is to be showed and documentation of how we can change our traditional applications into hystrix integrated application. The application service is deployed on the openshift and now using chaos monkey(netflix, monkeyop project from git) we are incorporating bugs and testing how available our application is. Chaos monkey comes from symbian army by netflix, so researching how can we make use of this and how can we implement it(how automation testing is done). The project is quite simple(Restful api service, Hystrix dashboard, java application, chaos moneky, automation testing).
