In my role as a Market Research Data Analyst, I currently assist in healthcare market research to address client needs. This research encompasses data collection surrounding mainly survey distribution and qualitative interviews. I assist with these processes from start to finish and in doing this, I assist with providing clients’ the intelligence and insightful market trends needed to make critical decisions. This position has also allowed me to deal with various types of data, break down this data and summarize/"roll-up" the data in a PowerPoint presentation for clients. This has opened up the door for Tableau as well, because of its capability to visualize and present different trends and point out weak-spots and/or strengths that may exist in the data patterns. In general, I have a passion for data visualization and analytics in general. With my Graduate-level, military and professional experience, I have demonstrated my ability to adapt to various situations and overcome obstacles. For example, I didn't know much about excel three years ago when I stepped into my prior data analysis role, but I learned the program and mastered the ability to break down this data (i.e. pivot tables), and deal with the data in ways I couldn't have imagined; mainly with Microsoft Excel and Tableau.
