I have 3 users, A, B and C with their home directories as /home/A, /home/B and /home/C.
Their SFTP is setup. But each of these users can access everything on system.
1) I want their access restricted so that,
A can only access /home/A/public_html,
B can only access /home/B/public_html
C can only access /home/C/public_html.
And they shouldn't be even able to view any other folders on SFTP. Basically can't go up (out of) these folders.
2) Their web-apps are stored at,
A's web-app is at /home/A/public_html/Adirectory
B's web-app is at /home/B/public_html/Bdirectory
C's web-app is at /home/C/public_html/Cdirectory
I want their web-apps accessible at,

Hey there,
i have created same for a client in my company as they need sftp access instead of ftp access on a perticular folder on server. i can do it thourgh some changes in sshd config file but if you are restricting them by them on a perticular folder they will not able to access your server through ssh. this is the cons for making this thing.
i have done it in 30 minute down time on production environment.
i will be happy to help you on this.
