We are re-siding our home with Certainteed Cedar Impressions siding in the Flagstone color and staggered pattern. [login to view URL] We love the look of the showcase home on Certainteed's website and are attempting to duplicate their color scheme. [login to view URL] In addition to the siding, we would like to add some stone veneer accents. Initial thought was to have stone come up 40" across the front of the garage. The part we're struggling with is placement of the stone under the porch. Concern here is the stone veneer will be mostly obscured by porch railing if we duplicate the garage look. Also, we're worried stone will darken the porch. Looking for overall design recommendation on the stone and a picture rendering of the finished design. We've narrowed down stone and color selection to Plygem's Shadow Ledgestone in Earthtone color, but we're open to other ideas. [login to view URL]
