I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - the model in the step file and the ones in the pics are different... :( 2 - i guess the model has some issues even when 3d printed... (if the step file used) 3 - your model need to be redesigned... and prepared for molding 4 - i will need the exact position for the bosses (as you call them - pillars, for screws) Regards Bogdan

I do have a couple of questions, If your end product will be injection molded you part will need drafted walls and after looking at your STEP model in Solidworks i can see all of the walls are 2mm thick with no drafts. I have a fully licensed copy of Solidworks which is the main program that i use for product design, i also have a experience with plastic parts design for injection molding.
