Edit several videos into one two minute clip -- 2

Hi, I have about 8-10 short video clips that I need edited into a max two minute package. Video needs to be cut together in a stylish/interesting way with the video sound turned off and a (rights free) track added over the top of it. Cuts in the action should match the beat in the music, so using PowerDirector or something would be beneficial. Video is from a local cycling race that needs to show a 'day in the life' of the rider, from putting on gloves/helmet, to warm up, to the startline. Please outline how you might make this look, and provide links to any videos for examples of your work. Thanks :-)
