2D Adobe Animate Puppet Animation

This is for young animators and students working online: We are currently looking for pre-industry 2D Flash/Animate puppet animators to join our team of freelance animators with 0-2 yrs experience. All characters are rigged with backgrounds. The rigs have a large range of body movements, facial expressions, and lip sync available. All we need is fantastic character animation, facial expressions and lip sync. We need you to bring these characters to life. The pay is $150-400 minutes per minute of animation depending on project, skill, urgency, and difficulty. Animation rates are published and agreed to before each job. Most our animators complete between 0:30-1:30 minutes of animation per week. A very short animation test with one of our rigs is required. We will send you files. A contract is also required. Responsibilities and Duties: -Communicate with directors and keep them updated on progress as well as inform them of any problems that might occur. -Work quickly on animation in order to meet deadlines. -Must be able to complete at least 30 seconds of puppet animation per week. Qualifications and Skills: -Adobe Flash and has worked with rigged characters. -Understand basic animation principles and being able to apply these skills to our character rigs. *When applying, be sure to include your demo reel with rigged animation you have done. SmashBits Animation Studio: We are a small studio headquartered in Kentucky with 14 full-time employee-animators and over 70 full-time online contractors. We do mostly short form children's work. We work hard to keep each of our student animators busy with consistent ongoing work. This is a solid opportunity for young pre-industry animators. Our full-time employees are hired out of our student animator pool. We will eventually bring you to Kentucky if you meet deadlines, grow in talent, follow instructions, are friendly, etc. Employees have been hired at SmashBits fresh out of school and within 6 months were directing projects 10x11m or longer.
