Premiere & After Effects Editing | Ongoing role at an educational startup company

KEY REQUIREMENTS •Basic to Advanced After Effects Knowledge •Premier and Video Editing Skills •The latest version of the Adobe Creative Cloud •Have a Mac Operating System •Fluent in English (written and oral) ABOUT THE COMPANY We create videos that help Speech Therapists, Social Workers, and Special Educators teach social skills to their students. The most common use case for these videos is for helping students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder learn the nuances of social communication that may not come naturally to them. THE POSITION We're looking for a video editor to come on and become a regular member of the team. We release new videos every month and we're looking to expand our video production. If things go well, there is the potential for a more permanent role. We read cover letters, please start your cover letter with the words "social skills." We're a fully remote company, so you can be from anywhere, but broadband internet and a strong command of English is needed for this role - a fluent or native level is required. Additionally, you will need to overlap with US / EST on a regular basis for live feedback / editing sessions. You'll work with our internal video production team, as well as our in-house speech pathologists to create videos that captivate and educate hundreds of thousands of students around the world. All video / audio assets are delivered via a google drive syncing system. Skills Required: - Knowledge in the Abode suite, preferably Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator What we're looking for: - Someone who can thrive in a low-information environment - Someone who can self-motivate and get stuff done even with no one looking over your shoulder - A proven ability to create.
