Hiring A Green Screen Video Editor for Real Estate Videos

I am the owner of the real estate team, website, and FB page Rochester Area Homes by Alex. I’ve been running ads on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram for a little over 9 months, but now I am looking for a new editor and have specific criteria and needs in who I will choose to hire. Must be good using the green screen.
My current editor is getting busy, does a wonderful job, and I expect any new editor to work to do better than he does. Below are 3 video links for you to get an idea of the standards I am looking for.

I will be selecting 3 editors to do a different video each. The top 1 or 2 to do the best job will get the majority of my business moving forward.
On average, I release 2-3 new video ads a week, so between 8-12 in a month. Typically run between 45-90 seconds, however I will also be increasing my YouTube channel in the next 12 weeks as well so may see some between 3-10 minutes down the road – we would work out an agreement on these at a later date after seeing some results. So, there should be a good amount of business for whoever is the best fit.
My expectations:
- Meets deadlines in a timely manner
- Receptive to feedback and edits
- Must be skilled in using animation, text, and inserting photos
- A creative mindset and able to make many decisions on their own. My hope is that this person can get familiar enough with my expectations.
Best practices:
- We have 6 seconds to capture people’s attention, I’m also a firm believer that we need to continuously re-capture their attention so changing animators and videos in the background are a must.
- My colors are red and black for the most part.
- I hire Rev for captions in my videos so please make sure account any text in videos for where those will be showing up.
- I segment my videos. I usually record 7-15 seconds at a time and edit to have the best bits put together in a final format which will be send over with green screen in background. From there I expect the editor to cut out the bits that don’t make sense and use their best judgement on what animations to use with the script I provide.
