Food search vb.net

I have a vb.net project I'm working on just for myself and need some help with some coding on one particular section. I have an Access database that already has all the data. I have a windows form application I'm working on. One section has a datagridview that shows date, food item, carbs. I want to filter the database and load the datagrid with the most recent date of food items recorded that match that date and one of the food items matches a [login to view URL] (which will have the food item I want to match. Then I need a button called Previous and when the button is clicked, the data grid shows the next previous day of that food that matches the food item but also shows all items with that next previous date and so on each time the button is clicked. The attached photo shows what the datagrid looks like. When you click the prev button the grid should look the same but with the next previous date only. some of the items may be differen but one of the items would be the same (matches the textbox). I hope this explains it well enough. I tried chatGpt but after several days of trying code it gave it did not give the results I 'm looking for. Hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult bit I'm not good at filltering the database.
