As per your scenario there are couple of options
1) you can install a “real” proxy server on your Linux
2) install Proxy software
3) then configure Squid proxy
There are two main types of proxies we will go over, a “normal” proxy and a “transparent” proxy.
depends upon your requirement what do you want to configure.
