Creation of an online store inspired from an existing website We think the site reference was created using .NET technology

Although not all features may be needed the functionality of the site should be present. some cosmetic changes are expected such as block / tab colors etc. It would include a quick check out process similar to the one featured.

The main page should include a slide show as featured with highlight of the relevant category on the left as it rolls.

Each product page should include a 4-8 pictures viewer with a zoom or enlarged picture option as well as a description paragraph where keywords can appear for easier SE detection. The cursor feature present on each item page allowing to select a specific size for purchase and automatic price calculation is preferred or otherwise a similar size selection device or window with matching price for direct check-out processing. Each item page should also offer at least 2 options for the product selection (either FRAMED or ROLLED) with a different pricing scale calculated as featured on the item page of the site mentioned above.

General features may include 'Language selection' options on top right of page preferred but not critical. it would have to be social network and smartphone friendly (FB,Twit,Youtube,etc..), Optimised for Search engines, offer the possibility to hold a lot of pictures whilst downloading quickly in a browser. Further details mentioned later, but overall similar to the referred site or a lighter version of it. Ideally, the site would be easy to administer for ongoing updating and maintenance in order to add or vary content and pictures or introduce seasonal offers as well as providing newsletters to the customers. Quicklinks between pages would have to be set up etc..

The administration of the site would be made easier by the use of a Content Management System and ideally offer some analytical data ( items sales per category traceable over different periods, detection of most visited sources by search engines, country or geographical locations, eventually collecting customers / emails data during sales for newsletters follow-up, maybe also detecting customers habits such as pages visited, time spend browsing, check-out process abandoned, etc..) as a tool to develop further marketing strategies and better target the demand.

In short, overall, all that we need appears on the site reference cited above.

This project would ultimately offer the freelancer to further maintain the site as it evolves in the future. We have some experience although limited in regards to HTML and for managing the graphic content of the site and therefore could overview some basic maintenance tasks ourselves if required. In this regard, effective communication between the parties is a must and a freelancer or company based in Sydney/Australia would be preferred although not essential.

We have an existing website at the moment which doesn't have the required functionality found on the reference site ([url removed, login to view] ), we could also take care of the site launching, hosting, domain,etc.. letting you focus on the design aspect and functionality of getting this project up.

Our budget for this project is limited at the moment as in the process of establishing the business, but we would most value and reward you input and services as it grows and expands, with good prospects for this to happen. We are opened to negotiating a fee that is realistic and would satisfy both parties for the completion of this project.
