I need someone with experience in upgrading Magento stores. I have one store running Magento 1.4.2 What I need is: A. This shop updated to latest 1.9 or 2.0 You need to have your OWN TEST ENVIRONMENT as live update is not possible. You will get Database, backup of old shop files + any details you need. As a LAST RESORT I can set up alternate domain name + ftp for you to work directly on the server. Store has 3 extra modules : 1. Payment module, available on connect. 2. Shipping Module available on connect. 3. Product view Module (custom code - can be eliminated if needed) Store has also a custom design made for 1.4.2 that needs to be transferred. I have successfully upgraded myself the store to version 1.9 but I have problem with index management after upgrade and product view in frontend. I am no programmer and the last glitches should be easy to fix by a professional PHP / MySQL guru. Payment gateway provided by [login to view URL] and live store runs with version 3.1.8 , this module must be upgraded to the latest version 3.2.7 and MUST WORK after the upgrade. In version 3.1.8 the shop is able to make the invoices online and capture the amount on the gateway automatically but on version 3.2.7 it gives an error : Not able to capture your payment online, due to this error:; Not a Quickpay Payment; Unable to save the invoice. Online capture works fine with version 3.1.8 but 3.2.7 gives error at online capture. B. Make the latest Quickpay payment module work on 1.4.2 Live shop runs with both 3.1.8 and 3.2.7 in parallel but 3.2.7 is unable to capture online from Magento and gives the mentioned error. In Magento 1.4.2 it's not possible to download the latest QuickPay module from connect and must be installed manually. Live Server is running Windows 2008 with IIS. The Magento 2 Is not an latest version from 1, it works way too different. The option that I am recommending you, is a part from your option A to upgrade your Magento 1.4 to the latest Magento version 1.9.2.4 There are a lot of extensions that you might need later on, and there are a lot of extensions available that could help you out to increase the sales. Modifying the current version and debugging it, is not a good solution and I am not recommending it. With Magento v1.9.2.4 you will be able to install the latest Quickpay extension and any other extension that you want, because most of them are compatible with this Magento version. I will work on my server, the new vs old site will be easy comparable. The budget that you have purposed is way too low, I don't know if it was just a placeholder.
