Hello there, I'm a semi-retired(early) C++ engineer who used to work in video processing (from CCTV/IP cameras), that processed up to 16 inputs, and displayed live and replayed video, in large corporate/public/government sector security scenarios(airports, malls etc). It was working for Tyco American Dynamics. It ran on WIndows, and used Visual C++; which I have 20+ years of R&D experience in, and was head-hunted by Microsoft 4 times as well(to work in their RF&D centers in the UK and Ireland). Should be able to design and develop this for you using either DirectX OR OpenGL or one of the many open source video rendering libraries currently available. My recommendation would be DirectX(or WIndows Media Foundation as it is called on later versions of Windows) as it comes bundled with WIndows, and is free, and is very very powerful! Hello. "white rabbit". I have good experience in writing Audio/Video software. To play Audio/Video on Windows the best way is to use DirectShow. To support most audio/videos formats need to use ffmpeg. To play video smoothly with little CPU usage need to use hardware acceleration. We can talk about this task in private chat.
