Replicate website design (currently made in WIX) using Wordpress CMS
When building Wordpress site,
Make all normal page text area editable (rich text editor in the admin)
For the product inventory navigation:
make all items appear by date order (newest on top) in the ARCHIVE page
for “category" & “collection” pages, let website admin determine the order of item display free-style drag-and-drop (not as “sort by...”) in the admin area. User has no control over sorting. User just sees the items in the category page in the order determined by admin.
“email the page to a friend” button (example: [login to view URL])
Print this item button (make the store name, item images & info fit nicely to Letter size paper)
In the admin area, for product info entry,
make regular text fields for: title, stock number, date, dimensions, price
make rich text field for: item descriptions (allow admin to choose & add image gallery type anywhere in the description field)
categories check boxes: Featured, Tables, Seating, Mirrors, Lighting, Period Objects, Paintings, Others, Gillows Collection, Oak & Country Collection, Campaign & Colonial Collection, Chinese Export, Wine Accessories, Notable Sales, Sold
Basic SEO
product page URL should automatically reflects product title
field for Alt tag for images
title, meta, description fields for normal pages
Responsive
Data entry
Upload data from old site (will be supplied in a .csv file and a zip folder containing images) to the new site.
