I would like to hire one virtual assistants (VA), part-time for now. I reside in Australia and conduct business in English, and sometimes in Portuguese and Spanish. This VA would work on both professional and personal matters for me. In order of priority, from ‘must have’ to ‘nice to have’, these are the key attributes of this professional: *outstanding proficiency in English, particularly written (i.e. top quartile in standard tests such as TOEFL or IELTS) *at least five years experience as a VA (I prefer 30 years or older, and I do not have any discrimination against gender or sexual orientation) *Experience in conducting research, such as: - Academic research in Neurosciences, familiarity with Mendeley, Sci-Hub and Google Scholar - Support in fund raising for tech start-ups, familiarity with CrunchBase, and reaching out to potential investors - Best travel insurance for elderly people traveling to Australia *Knowledge of management techniques such as GTD, Agile and Scrumm *Ability to self manage (including prioritizing tasks, taking the initiative to contact me if in doubt, resolving small issues before contacting me) *Experience in softwares such as google suite (drive, keep, calendar) *Likes to read (read at least two books in the last 12 months) *Working knowledge of website development (capable of setting up a basic theme wordpress website and domain registration) *Basic knowledge of Portuguese *Basic knowledge of Spanish *I am flexible in terms of working hours (the VA can study or manage family affairs) and location (we don’t care if she works from an office or from home) Best regards, EBS

Hello! Although I work here as a translator, I also have an interest in being a VA. Although I have no experience in this field, my interest is real. I am Brazilian bilingual, knowing Brazilian Portuguese (and I have already worked with Portuguese Portuguese) and English. Although I decided to don't work in what I studied, psychology, I had a great interest in neuropysychology in college.
