Website Development: NOA 2.0 (HTML5, CSS3, JS, WordPress)

Dear Freelancer,

A) CONTEXT:

----------------------

1) We are working currently on a 2.0 version of our website [login to view URL] which I created 4 years ago by myself using WordPress and some slightly customized template.

B) We have 2 in-house graphic designers who created the new design in PS and AI. This means NO DESIGN REQUIRED FROM YOU.

C) We used an external web developer who implemented already part of the design. The two pages he finished so fare using plain HTML5/CSS3/JS you can see here:

Unfortunately he will be not able to continue his work for us.

B) YOUR SKILLS:

----------------------

Our new version is designed completely from scratch and will require some good experience in

1) HTML5, CSS3 and JS for having a smooth frontend with some nice effects

2) WordPress for having a good backend plus being able to use existing plugins for newsletter, blog, event calendar, etc.

3) AWS + CDN + SSL as we plan to host this website on one of our AWS servers as HTTPS

C) YOUR TASKS:

----------------------

1) Dive into the code of the first page ( [login to view URL] ) and optimize and debug for

###> different browsers (currently it is working best in Chrome)

###> mobile devices like smartphones and tablets (there is a responsive behavior prepared but part of it is switched off again as the developer was focusing in the last work on the desktop version and it still needs to be optimized)

2) Dive into the code of the second page ( [login to view URL] ) and do the same optimizations.

This page is is representing the 2 pages Term of Use and Privacy Policy and have nothing complicated.

3) Create the code for the pages CONTACT US , ABOUT US and NEWS by re-using most of the code from the already existing pages. The first page mentioned in (1) is the most complicated page with the most complicated design, animations and transitions. All other pages are much simpler than and are from their complexity between the page mentioned in (1) and in (2).

4) Create a Wordpress template out of the pages you created so that we can change the content some of the content, especially:

###> changing text or pictures of existing sections

###> adding blog entries

###> adding events

It will be not necessary to allow complete adding in the back-end like adding sections, modifying transitions, responsive behavior, etc. This can stay hard coded.

5) Move the Wordpress installation to our AWS server in the USA, activate global CDN and SSL.

This task can be skipped and done by another developer if you do not have this experience.

D) MORE:

###> Website STRUCTURE is attached. The page SERVICES and PROJECTS can be ignored for now.

###> Website DESIGN is attached as PDF. Left part is the desktop or tablet version while the right part is the mobile version. We will provide you a PSD file with multiple layers and embedded smart objects which you have to open in AI.

###> Pages 2 and 3 (SERVICES and PROJECTS) can be skipped for now. They will be part of a following scope of work.
