I created SKIN in 2012 in order to combine my love for the arts and writing after many years of working as a model and being immersed in the world of photography. This also came at a time when I first became a published fiction writer and through the experience of running a magazine it gave me the chance to stretch my abilities. As part of day to day management I co-ordinate a group of 12 people consisting of fellow writers, photographers and graphic designers between the US and UK. I love many aspects of the job but if I had to pick my top three it would be expanding research skills, being immersed in culture and fascinating stories and getting to be in touch with highly creative people.
