Kung Fu Master Christophe Clarke

Kung Fu Master Christophe Clarke

Taking a portrait of a Kung Fu Master is an interesting challenge. Especially when the subject is as charismatic and lighthearted as Master Clarke. I wanted to capture the discipline and power of the art without resorting to traditional martial art poses. Of course, I set out with one idea and the end result was totally unexpected. Master Clarke is a world renown martial artist and teacher. A former member of the U.S. Kung Fu Team he has competed in world championships in the United States, Korea and Brazil. He has also consulted for the F.B.I., The former USSR Sports Ministry, and the Denver Broncos. He has studied martial arts all over Asia and has even had a handful of acting roles in martial arts films.

About Me

Photography is my passion! I have a wide variety of photographic interests and am constantly on the lookout for new and interesting subject matter. Unlike many, I absolutely love editing photographs. To me editing and retouching is an art of it's own, not just an afterthought.
