I am a Graphic Designer graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta Georgia. My Hispanic heritage has influenced my work and point of view when conceptualizing a project. I am in love with every aspect of the design process, from research, production, to the conception of the project. My areas of focus are UX/UI, editorial, and identity design. Additionally, I have a minor in Drawing since I come from a Fine Arts background. My passion for Design comes from the idea of creating emotions on people and move them to actions. I believe that designers are agents for change, we have the duty of making the world a better place because we have the power of influencing people's decisions. Mexico is rich in culture and treasures and part of my mission as a designer is to inform people about its beauties. Unfortunately, Mexico is often seen down and people do not recognize it's contributions to Art, Culture, and Traditions. It is amazing what Hispanics are able to do when they have their mind set on it and an example of that is the paper cutting designs made by hand in tissue paper. This book as an inspiration those tissue paper patterns are done by hand with the sole purpose of decorating or narrate a story. Everything about this tradition has a purpose and it only takes a bit of interest to find out the hidden meaning of things. In this book, I focus on explaining the symbolism of the different aspects found in this tradition. I do that through paper cutting by hand, illustrations relevant to the topic and general information that everyone should know if going to Mexico.

Mexico is rich in culture and treasures and part of my mission as a designer is to inform people about its beauties. Unfortunately, Mexico is often seen down and people do not recognize it's contributions to Art, Culture, and Traditions. It is amazing what Hispanics are able to do when they have their mind set on it and an example of that is the paper cutting designs made by hand in tissue paper. This book as an inspiration those tissue paper patterns are done by hand with the sole purpose of decorating or narrate a story. Everything about this tradition has a purpose and it only takes a bit of interest to find out the hidden meaning of things. In this book, I focus on explaining the symbolism of the different aspects found in this tradition. I do that through paper cutting by hand, illustrations relevant to the topic and general information that everyone should know if going to Mexico.
